Aromatics of lemon curd, pineapple, steel, and green leaf lift out of the glass on the nose of the elegant Riesling Reserve. Savour notes of orange marmalade, ruby red grapefruit, and ginger on the palate.
Made from 100% estate fruit, the making of the Riesling Reserve began in the vineyard, as a specific block was selected for this wine from our clone 49 Riesling. The berry clusters were cropped down to a lower yield and just under 3 tons were hand harvested and sorted. The fruit was whole cluster pressed and under went a long and cold ferment over 7 weeks to maximize the aromatics.
