Fort Berens WineWe strive to craft a portfolio of balanced and distinctive wines, honest and pure, that reflects the unique terroir of this new region and the spirit of the winemaker. Offered at a fair price, our wines are accessible for a broad audience and allow for outstanding food paring.

Until we are able to harvest our first crop of grapes (in 2011), we source wine and grapes from the Okanagan, that reflect the style of our fledgling vineyard. The wines that we offer today are made from carefully selected premium grapes. They are crafted to fit the style of wine that we seek: elegant, well balanced and with lots of fruit. Come explore.

2007 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 12.5%
This dry Riesling is a crisp, fresh, fruit-forward wine to be enjoyed as an appetizer or to complement seafood or salads.

2009 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 13.9%
Our Chardonnay is a fruit forward wine with nice aromas of pineapple, white peach and a hint of oak. Enjoy this wine with salmon, chicken or pasta.

2007 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 12.8%
Our Rosé is a full bodied wine with fresh strawberry aromas, characteristic for Pinot Noir. It is an excellent match with salmon, pasta, turkey, chicken or pork dishes.

2007 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 13.9%
Our Meritage contains 80% merlot, 15% cabernet sauvignon and 5% cabernet franc grapes. This wine was aged for 22 months in French and American oak barrels. Enjoy it with BBQ steak, roast beef or aged cheeses.

2008 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 13.9%
This elegant and full bodied wine has distinct blackberry and black pepper aromas, characteristic for cabernet franc grapes. It is an excellent match with grilled steak or a pork roast.

2007 BRITISH COLUMBIA VQA — Alc.: 14.1%
This naturally sweet wine is a great appetizer, and it is also an excellent match with a cheese platter, a light fruit pie or spicy foods (Asian, Indian, etc).
