Public seminar dedicated to Red Gold

Date: Sun, Nov 13, 2016
Time 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Venue: Whistler Conference Centre
Phone: 604 932-3928

The 100% estate-grown wines of Fort Berens Estate Winery are a perfect expression of the terroir around Lillooet, which is one of BC’s most exciting emerging winegrowing regions.  This engaging seminar will provide an insider’s view of how Fort Berens wines are made, as well as insight into how the area’s terroir differs from that of more established BC winegrowing regions.  Daenna Van Mulligen will lead the event, together with Fort Berens’ winemaker Danny Hattingh, viticulturalist Megan DeVilliers, and co-owner & co-founder, Rolf de Bruin.  Guests will compare and contrast Cabernet Franc and Merlot from Lillooet, the Okanagan, and the Similkameen; they will also participate in the first public tasting of Fort Berens’ newly released Red Gold blend.
