Made from Pinot Noir grown at the Flaherty Vineyard in Naramata, a long-time grape grower for Fort Berens. Picked at optimal ripeness the grapes were crushed, destemmed and cold soaked for 2 days. Then inoculated with a Burgundy yeast strain and 3 pump overs were used daily to enhance the red fruit character. Aged for 9 months in neutral French oak barrels.

Elegant and fruit-forward, this Pinot Noir features notes of bright red fruit including strawberries and raspberries and a earthy notes. A light to medium bodied wine with lingering red fruit flavours with a soft and smooth finish on the palate.

This food-friendly Pinot Noir is a great match with salmon, roasted chicken, or pasta dishes.

This wine was made with estate-grown grapes from our Dry Creek Vineyard in Lillooet, as well as grapes from Oliver BC. The grapes were hand harvested late in the season for optimal ripeness. The extended hanging time created a ripe, smooth tannin structure. Pump overs and post fermentation maceration ensured good colour and tannins. The wine was barrel-aged for 15 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels (new and neutral).

On the nose, this dark burgundy wine has notes of blackberry, dark plum, cassis, and violets. This elegant, medium-to-full-bodied wine is soft with pronounced tannins and beautiful blackberry flavours, and a velvety soft, fresh finish. Enjoy this wine with roasted pork or a tomato-based curry.

Ready to drink now, or with proper cellaring, this wine can be cellared till 2027 and beyond.

A blend of 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc, this complex Meritage contains estate-grown grapes along with grapes from vineyards in the Okanagan. Each fraction of grapes was fermented and aged separately. Pump-overs were used to extract colour and to create a fresh, fruit forward wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in 1000 litre tanks to increase the skin to juice ratio. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 15 months, and then blended and further aged in bottle before release.

Expressive and complex, this wine has deep and intensely aromatic notes of raspberries, plum, and vanilla spice. On the palate, this wine is well balanced with notes of leather, violets and five spice.

Pair this full-bodied red wine with roasted pork or chicken.

Vineyard: Dry Creek Vineyard, Fort Berens Estate Winery in Lillooet

The fruit for this Riesling Reserve was sourced from a special block in our Dry Creek Vineyard, that was cropped low to produce a rich and concentrated wine. The grapes were hand harvested and whole cluster pressed before settling. After racking, the wine was naturally fermented cold for 7 weeks in a stainless-steel tank. This wine was bottle aged for 14 months before release.

Savour tropical notes of apricot, peaches, lychee, and elderflower in this balanced and fruit-forward wine. On the palate, enjoy the round and fresh sensation of this just slightly off-dry Riesling. It finishes dry with light green apple and limestone notes.

Enjoy this very food-friendly wine on its own or with a wide variety of dishes from grilled chicken and grilled citrus shrimp to spicy stir fries.

This wine is ready to drink now, or with proper cellaring, you can age this wine until 2027.

Vineyard: Dry Creek Vineyard, Fort Berens Estate Winery in Lillooet.

With cool nights during ripening, the grapes were picked later in September at optimal ripeness. 50% were whole cluster pressed and 50% were crushed and destemmed and left on the skins for 4 hours before pressing, adding freshness and richness to the wine. Cold fermented with natural yeast, and then aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. 30% of the barrels were new, 30% 2nd fill, and 40% were neutral. Partial malolactic fermentation took place, adding complexity to the wine.

On the nose, citrus, stone fruit, roasted almonds, and hints of lemon zest dominate the aromatic profile of our elegant White Gold and on the palate, it shows a rich and creamy texture combined with a crisp acidity and well integrated oak. This full-bodied and fresh Chardonnay has a beautiful, long finish.

The ideal pairing is with decadent dishes such as lobster or bacon wrapped scallops. Or try with risotto, a mushroom-based pasta or roasted chicken.

This wine is ready now, will peak by 2024 and can be aged till 2026.

Vineyard: Dry Creek Vineyard, Fort Berens Estate Winery in Lillooet

Specially selected rows in our vineyard were allocated to this wine, cropping low yields on Clone 115 and 667. The fruit was crushed, destemmed and cold soaked for 2 days for fruit and colour extraction. We did daily punch-downs and pump-overs, and the wine was fermented with a burgundy yeast strain. After a post-maceration of 3 days, the wine was gently pressed and aged in French oak barrels (25% new) for 9 months.

An elegant Pinot Noir featuring cherries and raspberries on the nose with hints of dark chocolate. On the palate the wine shows a combination of red berries and earthy tones with some mature tannins on the very long finish. A great balance between new and old-world style Pinot.

Our Pinot Noir Reserve is delicious to drink now and can be cellared until 2028.

This wine pairs beautifully with smoked salmon or a mushroom risotto.
