Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Grown in our Lillooet vineyard, the 2014 Estate Chardonnay is one of our most versatile wines. Aromas of lemon zest, pineapple, vanilla and coconut set the stage for this medium to light bodied wine, where lively acidity easily carries through to a lingering, buttery finish. Ideal with creamy seafood or grilled poultry.

Winemaker Notes
This Chardonnay from our estate vineyard was picked on September 20th and 21st, 2014 at 21.0 Brix. After a gentle press cycle, about 20% of the volume was fermented in new and used French barrels, while the remainder was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. About 15% of the Chardonnay was aged in French barrels for 6 months until bottling on March 11th 2015.
Food Pairing Notes
Our Chardonnay will pair well with West Coast style eggs Benedict topped with smoked salmon, or sautéed scallops.
