Tasting Notes
A full bodied bordeaux blend that is fruit forward on the nose with plum, raspberry and cassis with hints of vanilla following though from the oak. On the palate it has a smooth structure with a long finish and some dark chocolate flavour.

Winemaker Notes
100% estate grown grapes, a combination of both Dry Creek Vineyard and Red Rock Vineyard. A blend made of 42% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before de-stemming and crush. A two day cold soak allows for additional fruit extraction before starting fermentation. For colour and flavour extraction pumpovers were done every four hours with fermentation temperatures increasing to 28 degrees for peak extraction. After the completion of fermentation, an eight day post maceration is done on the skins for futher colour and tannin extraction. Each componant of the blend is vinified and barrel matured separatley and only blended after being in barrels for 15 months. 50% New French oak and 50% 2nd fill 225L barrels used.
