Time spent in new oak leads to notes of dark chocolate with hints of cigar box. This full-bodied iconic wine has a soft and juicy tannin structure and a delightful lingering finish of vanilla, dark chocolate, and berries.

Dry Creek Vineyard
67% Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes were harvested from our mature estate Dry Creek Vineyard, planted in 2009. The cultivars were vinified separately and blended only after barrel maturation. The grapes were destemmed and crushed and cold soaked for 3 days for optimal colour and fruit extraction. Pump-overs and punch-down techniques were used during fermentation. On the completion of fermentation, a further maceration on the skins was done for an additional 10 days for tannin and colour extraction. Wines were barreled in new French oak and matured for a total of 15 months. Only the top 3 barrels were selected to make this premium red blend.
