Smooth and fruit-forward, this Merlot features notes of cherries, plums, and mulberries. The soft, round texture of this medium-bodied wine makes it an excellent match with roasted chicken or a housemade pizza with a rich tomato sauce.

Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed, crushed, and left to cold soak for 3 days. The juice was inoculated with yeast and allowed to ferment at 24 degrees. Pump overs were done every 4 hours for colour extraction. 3 days post maceration on skins for fine tannin extraction before pressing. This Merlot was aged 15 months in 225 litre neutral oak barrels. 50% of the barrels were French oak, and 50% were American oak.
