Made primarily with grapes from our estate vineyard in Lillooet, our Cabernet Franc is a full-bodied wine with intense fruit flavours. The deep red colour with concentrated flavours of cherries, raspberries and black currants makes this wine a match with a tomato pasta dish. It is ready to drink now or it will age beautifully for many years.
Smooth and full-bodied, the 2016 Merlot boasts rich aromas of cherry, blackberry, and cedar. The deep red colour leads to expressive flavours of cherry, raspberry, and black currant. Making for an excellent match with grilled meats or tomato-based pasta dishes.
In 1862, during the Gold Rush, John Callbreath brought 23 camels to Lillooet, hoping they would be less stubborn than mules. Although he lost his camels and a small fortune, his pioneering spirit inspired us to champion a new wine region and build a winery in Lillooet. This feisty and fresh 2016 Camels Red pays tribute to this legendary tale. Pair this delicious, medium-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir with a juicy burger and fries.
