The opulent and refined Chardonnay Reserve offers notes of baked apple, hazelnut, and pineapple on the nose. A dry wine with a rich and creamy mouthfeel, the palate boasts flavours of rye toast, mandarin orange, yoghurt, and mango.
The grapes were whole cluster pressed to ensure that only the best juice was extracted from the berries, and only free run portions were used. After the juice was settled, it was racked into French oak barrels to limit the amount of lees. Fermentation was spontaneous and based upon the native yeasts which reside exclusively in our Lillooet VQA region.
