Meritage Reserve 2020

Crafted from 100% estate grown grapes from the finest blocks in our Dry Creek Vineyard, this Meritage Reserve features a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed, crushed, and cold soaked for 3 days. A combination of extraction techniques were used during fermentation including punchdowns and pumpovers. Finally, a 5-day extended maceration on the skins followed to extract maximum flavour and colour. The components were aged separately for 15 months in 100% French oak barrels, including 40% new barrels and 60% second fill barrels. Each component was skillfully selected and blended to form this Meritage Reserve.
