Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Our estate grown 2013 Riesling is slightly off-dry. Aromas of fresh tree fruits shine against a mineral background of wet slate. Crisp tart apple and a zesty acidity are balanced by sweet peach and honey crisp apple. Age worthy, or enjoy it now with rich creamy sauces and pungent cheese.

Winemaker Notes
This Riesling is made with 100% estate fruit. A total of 12 tons of Riesling was handpicked on Oct 19th from our 5-acre Riesling block containing clones 21b and 49. The season had a great start with a long, hot and dry summer creating ideal growing conditions. Harvested at 22 Brix, we aimed to preserve some of the natural sweetness. A slow and cool ferment in stainless steel tanks preserved the crisp acidity and fresh fruity character of the grapes. With its low pH, touch of residual sugar and bright acidity this wine has excellent ageing potential.

Wine is peaking and should be consumed soon
