Tasting Room Associate (Seasonal)
Fort Berens Estate Winery is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Tasting Room team for the upcoming summer season. As a Tasting Room Associate, you will create exceptional guest experiences, provide wine tastings, and educate guests about our wines, our vineyard, and the winemaking process.
We are looking for full-time, part-time and on-call seasonal Tasting Room Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming experience.
- Conduct wine tastings and provide guests with knowledge and information about our wines, our vineyard, and the winemaking process.
- Sell wine and other merchandise to guests.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Tasting Room.
- Assist with winery events and special projects as needed.
- Promote Fort Berens wines to visitors.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.
- An interest in wine and general enjoyment of wine.
- Ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastically about our wines to guests in a high-volume environment.
- Must be 19+.
- Serving-it-Right Certificate is required.
Wage:
- $18-$20 per hour, plus incentives
