All-Round Accountant (Full Cycle)
Location: Lillooet, BC | Remote/Hybrid options available
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the full suite of accounting responsibilities in a dynamic winery setting. You'll work closely with our passionate team and report directly to senior management.

What You'll Do:
As our accountant, you'll manage most bookkeeping and accounting functions for the winery. Responsibilities include:
- Accounts Payable – Invoice entry and payment processing
- Accounts Receivable – Sales invoicing, credit card processing, collections
- Cash Reports – Reconciliation of retail cash reports and revenue entry
- Payroll – Collect hours, process payroll, administer benefits
- Inventory Control – Oversee counts and reconciliations
- Banking – Reconcile bank, credit card, and cash accounts monthly
- General Ledger – Accruals, month- and year-end, prepare working papers
- Tax Remittances – File GST, PST, Payroll, WCB, Excise, BCLDB reports
- Reporting – Monthly financial and sales reports for management
- Planning & Control – Support budgeting and financial planning
Qualifications & Skills:
- Canadian passport or Permanent Resident status
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration (accounting focus)
- Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Word) with advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience with Sage 50 (asset)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
