Pinot Noir harvested in October 2020 from the Flaherty Vineyard on the Naramata Bench with delicate extraction during the fermentation process. Barrel matured for 10 months, 25% new French oak used in combination of 4th and 6th fill French/Amercian oak barrels. A new world style Pinot Noir to be enjoyed now or cellar for up to 5 years.

Tasting Notes
A medium ruby red Pinot Noir that is clear and bright. Aromas of bright red fruit, such as red cherries and raspberries with a subtle hint of clove spice, licorice and earthy notes. A medium bodied wine with a soft tannin structure and delicate flavours of red berries. Lovely new world style that is berry fruit driven, fresh and bright.

100% Pinot Noir
Winemaker Notes
Pinot Noir berries remained uncrushed to minimize tannin extraction from seeds and fermented with a select burgundy yeast strain. During fermentation, 3 pump overs a day were completed for delicate fruit and colour extraction. Barrel maturation for 10 months in 225 litres barrels. 50% French & 50% American oak barrels. 25% of this was new French oak barrels in combination with 4th fill (50%) and 6th fill (25%) barrels were used.

The Pinot Noir will pair well with salmon, chicken, pasta dishes or even with a light summer salad.
