Red Library Wines

The 2013 vintage is made primarily with grapes from our Lillooet vineyard. Deep ruby in colour with aromas of coconut, campfire, and peppercorn; full-bodied and good tannins make for excellent cellaring or easy decanting to enjoy tonight. Enjoy this Cabernet Franc and its long, juicy finish – especially with stews and grilled meats.

Updated Spring 2021:
This is a lighter style Cabernet Franc. It is very red berry driven, especially raspberry, and lots of tannin present. There is good potential for further ageing.

Tasting notes at the time of release:
Our 2014 Cabernet Franc is made primarily with grapes from our Lillooet vineyard. It has aromas of blackberry, black currant and blueberry, with roasted red pepper notes on the finish. Serve this tonight with a steak or pasta with a tangy tomato sauce or cellar it until 2020.

Updated Spring 2021:
There is lots of oak still present. It is medium-bodied with notes of chocolate, mocha, and some dark fruit.

Tasting notes at the time of release:
Made primarily with grapes from our estate vineyard in Lillooet, our Cabernet Franc is a full-bodied wine with rich, intense fruit flavours. The beautiful, deep red colour with concentrated flavours of cherries, raspberries and black currants makes this wine a perfect match with a rich tomato pasta dish. It is ready to drink now or it will age beautifully for many years.

Updated Spring 2021:
This Cabernet Franc has lots of notes in the dark fruit spectrum, including cassis and blueberry. It has a rich mouthfeel with good acidity. This will age well.

Tasting notes at the time of release:
On the nose, this food-friendly wine has aromas of bacon, roasted red peppers, black tea, and a pleasant hint of mint. The fine tannin structure in this wine offers a beautiful mouthfeel with intense flavours of black currants and blackberries, with spicy black tea notes.

Updated Spring 2021:
Enjoy sweet cherry and dark plum in this riper-style Cabernet Franc. It has a rich and full-bodied mouthfeel.

Tasting notes at the time of release:
On the nose, this complex wine is very aromatic with notes of blackberries and blueberries, white pepper, and rose petals. The soft, light tannins in this smooth, fruit-forward wine offer a beautiful mouthfeel with flavours of blackberries and raspberries, and a very long finish.

On the nose, this dark burgundy wine has notes of blueberries, dark red cherries, and dark chocolate. This juicy and fruit-forward, medium-to-full-bodied wine is soft with pronounced tannins and beautiful blackberry flavours.

This elegant Cabernet Franc Reserve has earthy characteristics along with the aromas of blackberry, rosemary, and floral notes of lavender, roses and violets. This full-bodied, well-balanced wine features notes of blueberry, blackberry and liquorice, very soft and ripe tannins, and a long finish. Decant this wine to aerate it and open up the aromas and flavours. 

Crafted with 100% estate grown grapes from carefully selected rows in our Dry Creek Vineyard. This Cabernet Franc Reserve matured for 15 months in 40% new oak barrels. This wine was left unfined and unfiltered, so natural sediment can occur. Decant this wine prior to serving.

Updated Spring 2021:
Enjoy toasty oak notes, roasted nuts in this medium-bodied Meritage. There are less prominent fruit characteristics, but hints of blueberry and cassis. This wine is soft but still has some tannin.  

Tasting notes at the time of release:
This Meritage is blend of grapes from our estate vineyard in Lillooet and Sundial Vineyard in the Okanagan. Our 2013 Meritage is made from 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc.

Our 2014 Meritage is a blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. This primarily estate grown wine is a juicy, big red blend that is lush with flavours of ripe red fruit, smoky bacon, and roasted red peppers. Savour this beautifully balanced wine with hearty dishes or grilled meats. 

This Meritage is a blend of 65% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc. A third of the Merlot was estate-grown with the remainder coming from vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen. The Cabernet Sauvignon came from a vineyard in the Similkameen, the Cabernet Franc from a vineyard near Oliver in the Okanagan. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and gently pressed before spending almost a year in French and American oak barrels. After bottling in June 2018, the wine was aged another 12 months in our cellars before release.

Savour the aromas of ripe red fruit, spice box, and violets in our classic Merlot-predominant, fruit-forward Meritage. Enjoy this smooth and soft, medium-to-full-bodied wine with a long finish.

On the nose, this oaky Meritage Reserve has aromas of cherries, black currants, and potpourri. It is a full-bodied wine, with notes of Italian plums and cherries, with a long, smooth finish. Decant this wine to aerate it and open up the aromas and flavours. 

Crafted from 100% estate grown grapes from specific blocks in our Dry Creek Vineyard, we cropped the vines to lower levels for rich and concentrated flavours. This Meritage Reserve is a blend of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. The components were aged separately for 15 months in 60% French oak barrels before final blending. This elegant wine features a ripe, soft tannin profile. It can be aged until 2026.

An elegant Merlot-based Meritage showing loads of berry fruit from raspberries and blueberries, with a touch of clove spice and mocha coming through on the nose. A full-bodied red blend that follows through with berry flavour and some lingering vanilla. A soft and smooth tannin structure on the palate.

The combination of different clones results in layers of flavours: ripe cherries and raspberries, plus savoury elements with subtle earth tones. Match a bottle with a messy pulled pork sandwich, salmon, or slow roast beef.

Beautiful and refined, our Pinot Noir Reserve is made using 100% estate grown grapes from our Dry Creek Vineyard. Savour the aroma of rhubarb, and warm, freshly stewed strawberries in this fruit-forward, medium-bodied wine. It is an elegant wine with real charm.

On the nose, our premium Red Gold offers aromas of intense blackberries and cherries combined with earthy leaves and a dry mossy forest. This beautifully balanced full-bodied wine explores all regions of the palate with lush fruit flavours, spicy oak and a lengthy, smooth finish.

The Red Gold is a wine crafted from the best grapes from vineyards in Lillooet, the Similkameen and the Okanagan. This beautifully complex, full-bodied wine is a blend of 38% Cabernet Franc, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Merlot. The Cabernet Franc is made in a passimento style, where we dry the grapes to increase their intensity. It was aged in our finest oak barrels for 12 months and bottle-aged an additional 12 months prior to release.

On the nose, our premium Red Gold offers aromas of intense blackberries and ripe plums with notes of sage and liquorice. This beautifully balanced, full-bodied wine explores all regions of the palate with lush fruit flavours, spicy oak and a lengthy, smooth finish.
