Small lot: only 89 cases made

Winemaker Notes

Merlot ripened well on the vines coming to the cellar in the middle of our picking season. A combination of punch downs and pumpovers were used to extract the dark ruby colour. 15 months barrel maturation in French and American oak. 50% French oak. Older barrels were used to enhance the fruit character of the wine.

It's an excellent match to pair with lamb, venison, or a rich tomato-based lasagna.
